First, I would like to congratulate you on your MVP award. After Kevin Durant left you for a free ring with Golden State, that only seemed to amplify your will to win and prove to Kevin that he made the wrong move by leaving you.
With Kevin gone and your dedication to the Thunder multiplied, you have finally been able to step up and become the leading superstar of the team.
You proved your ability to carry the entire team on your back by averaging a triple-double throughout the entire regular season and leading your team to the sixth seed in a very tough western conference.
All your hard work has paid off though, as you proved to superstar Paul George that you were willing to do anything to win. Now with another superstar on the team to help carry the weight of the team, you may have a chance to compete for a championship in the near future.
With Paul George coming to your team, this will most certainly result in a better regular season record, which will in turn attract even more stars to come build a super team. If the front office makes the right trades and signs the right players, there's a decent chance that you could compete with a healthy Warriors roster by 2020.
Overall, even if things don't go your way, your legacy is already decorated with plenty of impressive feats: winning MVP, holding the record for most triple-doubles in a season, and making the all-NBA team for two years in a row. I'm sure many more great things are going to come from you in the future.
