Exit 11 Provides a
Unique Coffee Experience

We wanted to tell a story that was community focused, so we decided to look at local coffee shops. In time, we decided to focus on the up and coming Exit 11 Coffee House, Workplace, and Drive Thru.
Along with focusing on organic ingredients, Exit 11 is community-based all the way down to the nitrate-free chorizo they use in their burritos.
Before starting, we called Exit 11 to get approval from Angela Garland, Exit 11 owner and founder, to produce the story. Soon after, we set up a time to interview her and shoot b-roll at the coffee house and workplace. The interview went well. She was very passionate about the business.
B-roll was easy to get. We got to take several shots around the building. The more challenging part was getting b-roll of the drive thru in the cold hours of the morning. Once there, the shots were easy as the lines were filled with cars.
When going to put the story together, we struggled getting under the time limit, so we had to figure out the main points we wanted to focus on to create a clear and concise story. After revising, we created a well-rounded story that we are proud to share with you.
