The answer is simple. You pull out your power bank!
For $35.95 (or cheaper depending on sales and coupons) on Amazon, you could own your very own 30,800mAh (milliampere/hour) portable power bank that supports up to 15W (watt) wireless fast charging for your iOS/Android devices or any other product that is Qi-enabled. (“Qi” is Chinese for “life energy.”) It also has two QuickCharge 3.0 USB ports, USB-C input/output, and a Micro-USB input. But alas, do not click the buy button yet. This medium-sized device has some kinks that may make you change your mind.
Kink #1: The wireless charger, while handy, is very picky about WHERE you place your phone. So if it’s not in almost the exact right spot, it will stop charging.
Kink #2: The top of the phone needs to be covering the LED charge indicator screen at the top of the power bank to actually charge properly. So you can’t see the charge level of your device or check if your phone is charging without lifting your phone or turning it on.
Kink #3: I personally don’t like how this works, but you need to press the “on” button AFTER you place your phone down instead of just leaving your charger on like a wall plug wireless charger. At least, this is my experience with this product.
Kink #4: While this portable power bank is incredibly convenient, it can only fast charge one device at a time. If you have more than one device charging at once, it will only charge them at a standard pace. Some people may not think of this as a kink, but personally, it’s a thumbs down for me.
Kink #5: The back of the device does not have any form of traction; it is completely smooth. So if you have your power bank setting down at a slight angle, it will most likely start to slide. I plan to buy little rubber feet to solve this issue.
All in all, I rate this product a 7/10. The idea is flawless, but the execution could be better. A link is provided below in case you would like to buy this for yourself.
