After a 5 minute internal debate in my local Target, naturally, I decided on the product with the cutest packaging which promised "tousled waves & a lite matte finish." For the affordable price of about $5, I went ahead and excitedly purchased it, eager to get home and try it out.
I applied this spray liberally to my hair when it was dry and waited about 10 minutes for the product to set in and dry evenly.
The first thing I noticed was the stickiness and separation of my hair. I decided to brush it out, respray, and put it in a braid in hopes of getting more wave definition. After I took out the braid, I was much more pleased with my results. My hair had smooth and natural looking waves, which was what I was going for.
Though this product worked out great for my hair type, I wanted to see how it worked for others before I wrote a full review on it.
My little sister had some friends over last week and I decided to use them as my guinea pigs! I came to the conclusion that if you have super thick hair, this product might prove to make it slightly frizzy and if you have super fine hair, it might weigh it down.
Overall, I would definitely give this product two thumbs up. If you're looking for a way to switch up your hairstyle and go with a more natural look, this would be a great addition to your every day beauty routine. Not to mention, it smells so good! Just be sure to remember that it will work differently in all hair types and results will vary.
Although I liked how this product worked in my hair, if I were going to recommend it to a friend, I would be sure to throw in two steps that would've been a great addition to the directions on the bottle or even as "for best result" tips: brush out your hair after application and for more defined waves, let product dry throughout hair while in a loose braid.
Until next time,
