If you’re as much as a makeup fanatic as I am, I’m sure you already have a list of new products to test out that you’re saving up for. Sorry to break your budget but I’m here to add to that list by sharing some of my "cannot-live-without" cosmetics.
I’ll start off with some of my favorite skin care products on the market. One face mask that I absolutely love is the Origins Clear Improvement mask. It instantly reduces the size and redness of pimples and sucks up all the grime and unwanted oils on your face. I would definitely recommend this mask to people with an oily skin type or who are prone to acne.
Another Origins product I use regularly is the Origins Original Skin Matte Moisturizer. A common skincare myth that I believed for ages is that if you have oily skin you do not need to moisturize.
Another face mask that works miracles for acne is any face mask that lists “tumeric” in the first three ingredients. Turmeric has lightening qualities and is amazing on acne scars. You can buy cheap tumeric masks from Target or Marshalls, or you can even look up a DIY to make your own.
Now, we can move on to the fun stuff, makeup! Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to makeup so what works for me won’t work for everyone.
I personally am a fan of full coverage and bold makeup. I’ve tried a ton of different full coverage foundations and there is one that is by far my favorite. The Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation and Concealer smooths out the skin and blurs the appearance of pores and imperfections effortlessly. This is always my go-to foundation, and I recommend it to almost anyone.
I could go on and on about eyeshadow palettes. I buy way too many of them, but today I’ll just list a few of my absolute favorites; Modern Renaissance by Anastasia Beverly Hills, Just Peachy Mattes by Too Faced, and the Morphe 3502 palette.
A final beauty product I use basically everyday is one of the Lippie Lingerie matte tints by Tarte. My personal favorite shade is "Exposed" and it’s my go-to lip product.
I’m sure by now I’ve given you enough products to test out for yourself. Have fun exploring deeper into the makeup world and trying out some of my personal favorites.
