Dear Megan Yenzer,
It’s crazy to think that one year ago we didn’t even know each other, and now you are one of my closest friends. I guess we can thank Ms. Turner for our friendship since we met in Blue Jay Journal TV when we were put in the same group for our first assignment. Because of that, we realized that our personalities worked well together and we had a lot in common. But when I first met you, I thought we would just be good friends in the class and nothing more; I was totally wrong.
Throughout the year, we only grew closer. By working on PSAs and helping each other with stories, we created a bond where we could always count on each other for assistance. I would not be as confident in my work for Blue Jay Journal TV if it wasn’t for you. You stepped up and took me under your wing to help me succeed; I am unbelievably thankful for that.
You’ve taken the time to not only guide me throughout Blue Jay Journal TV, but also through life. From making snarky, sarcastic comments about each other to sitting in a car for over an hour talking about our lives, our friendship is one I wouldn’t change for the world. Anytime I have a problem I can count on you for advice and guidance. You’ve helped me with so many common teenage girl problems, but also other personal issues. I could not be more grateful; you’re like a big sister to me.
Thank you for everything you have done for me, Megan. The memories we created will definitely last a lifetime, and I can’t wait to see where our friendship goes. I could not be more appreciative to have a best friend like you, and I can’t wait to see where the world takes you.
P.S. If I ever need surgery, I’m requesting Dr. Yenzer! :-)
