Going back to school is not my favorite thing to do, but this school year is a little different. I have many hopes and fears for my last year of high school.
I have very high hopes for my senior year, and I plan to fulfill them. My number one hope would be to have fun and make as many memories as possible. Yes, I am one to say high school has been good, but I want to leave school on a great note. My second hope is to keep my grades up and focus on my future. Even though a big chapter of my life is coming to an end, I still have the rest of my life to prepare for and think about.
Along with all of my hopes, I also have many fears about the upcoming school year. My biggest fear by far would have to be coming down with a case of senioritis. Senioritis scares me because I need to stay focused. I know that some point during the year senioritis could impact my school work. My other fear is leaving all of my friends that I have met in high school. I’ve made many friends over the last three years of high school, and I am very scared to leave them after I graduate.
I am excited, yet nervous for this upcoming school year, but for the most part I’m excited to end a chapter of my life!
