Saved by a Seatbelt
by Zach, Payton, and Kaden

We chose to produce a story about how important seatbelts are. Kaden immediately said he had a good person to interview. A family friend had experienced a really rough car crash. After we knew we had that interview, we asked around to see if anyone else knew of anyone who had been in a serious car accident before. Lucky for us, we had two other good leads on interviews with Jessica and Danielle.

Slating and logging took a while, but after we finished that process, we planned to get right to work on the script. Unfortunately, a few snow days got in the middle of us getting right back to work on the script. After we came back, we immediately worked on the script. It all fell into place easily because we had a vision for what we wanted this story to look and sound like.

Editing went smoothly. We used a lot of pictures and videos of their actual wrecks to help better convey their stories.

We are very happy with how this story turned out and hope you enjoy it as well. Remember, next time you are in a vehicle, be sure to buckle up! The life you save may be your own.
