"I try to recycle cans, bottles, and other stuff. At my dad's, we have a recycling bin and the City of Union picks it up. I see pictures of the ocean trashed and all of the animals suffering, and I know we have to make a better earth for future generations. Someone has to clean up since nobody else really is.

"I've been a vegetarian for 4 years. It's been said that this lifestyle helps with reducing greenhouse gases, meat processing, and it helps regulate the flow of production. It makes me feel like I'm doing something. You don't have to be a vegetarian to help, but it's just a relief to be able to give back to the world. I also have a garden, and I'm really big about bringing the bees back, so I plant flowers because bees are going extinct. It's just all really important to me."

"With the environment crumbling apart like it is right now, nothing else is really going to matter. You're not going to be able to do anything else if the environment is destroyed. We can fix this now! Turn your lights off when you leave a room, recycle, and walk if you have the chance to because you don't have to drive everywhere. Just do more to save the world."
