The outdoors has many ways to take your mind off of the stress of daily life. Stress relief is as simple as the rustling of the trees when a gust of wind blows past. Another thing that I like to listen to are the songs that birds chirp. Just being quiet and listening to nature can calm the nerves.
It is not secret that I love fishing. If i have the time to spend fishing, it's a good day! I normally end up fishing if I have time or not, because I make time to do it. It is a priority!
Many times I will be thinking about questions on my homework assignments, and I will solve them in my head as I am fishing. I don't have the pressure of all the other homework and people around me, so the answers just pop into my mind.
Any time I am out fishing, the last ten minutes before I pack up to leave, I like to remember to take my life problem by problem. Remembering to face stress in life one step at a time, is always important.
Being in the great outdoors, more specifically fishing, is my way of relieving stress or figuring out what is causing my stress and how to handle it. I encourage you to get outside, get some fresh air, and let go of your stress.
