Show #5 of 2021-22
Happy New Year, Blue Jays. It's time for the first episode of Blue Jay Journal TV in 2022. Learn more about many opportunities to get involved by watching our "announcements" portion of the show. Also, go outside of school with us to a unique shop in Washington called Vintage Trader. We will enjoy a regional favorite in "Let's Grab a Bite." "Not Just Another Face in the Crowd" is also back with a look at a special Jaywalker dancer and we will head over to FRCC to explore the Health Occupations program. Additionally, BJJTV is taking time to remember Kyle Elbert. We have a PSA for you and the Franklin County Humane Society's Featured Pets. This time we have TWO featured instead of one. We hope you enjoy the show.
Show #6 of 2021-22
Despite multiple snow days, we were able to release Show #6 of Blue Jay Journal TV just before Spring Break. In this show, we share an important announcement and introduce viewers to WINGS. In case you didn't know, WINGS is a program that helps teachers and students by providing grants to purchase much-needed classroom items. In the spirit of Valentine's Day, we'll see if people are "pro" or "anti" this holiday and "Blue Jays Try" focuses on Valentine's sweets. Speaking of sweet, just wait until you meet the Franklin County Humane Society's Featured Pet named Cabo. You will also meet Izzy Baucom in our "Not Just Another Face in the Crowd" feature.

Show #3 of 2021-22
McKenzie and Molly are here to bring you news and views from WHS and our community. Yes, we have announcements, but that's not all! BJJTV staff members created feature stories about The Day of the Dead, the creative ways WHS Seniors have decorated their parking spots, and a the new Community Advocates Club. In "Let's Grab a Bite" Natalie and Anna introduce us to some sweet cake from Cowan's. In the spirit of Blue Jay Pride, "Not Just Another Face in the Crowd" introduces us to one interesting turkey. Our staff members also created a PSA that asks us to think about our choices when behind the wheel. Once again, we sample some interesting morsels in "Blue Jays Try." Don't forget to stick around until the end of the show to meet our featured pet from the Franklin County Humane Society, and learn more about our State Champion Lady Jays softball team. Enjoy!
Show #4 of 2021-22
It's beginning to look a lot like winter break! Lizbeth and Ethan host BJJTV #4 just in time for the holidays. Once we wrap up announcements, our staff will take you on a Holiday journey! It kicks off with a feature about Olde Fashioned Christmas. Natalie and Anna show us Fairytale Cookie Company's Holiday treats and we'll also learn about how some WHS clubs are doing good deeds during this season of giving. Frau Johnson shares her Irish holiday traditions with us in "Not Just Another Face in the Crowd." To add to the festive theme, Anna takes us to Heritage Valley Tree Farm.  However, we can't be 100% holiday-focused! There's also a PSA about the importance of avoiding toxic people. You will also meet our featured pet from the Franklin County Humane Society. His name is Bubba, and you will fall in love with him. This is our last show for 2021 and we look forward to more in 2022.

Show #1 2021-22

Show #2 2021-22

A new school year with a new BJJTV adviser and a new classroom is how our staff kicked off 2021-22. As we adjusted to all the newness, we worked towards our goal of creating Show #1. Hosted by third-year staff members, Anna and Natalie, Show #1 includes WHS announcements, as well as a feature on the new band director. We also introduce a new segment called "Let's Grab a Bite" where Anna and Natalie take us to Hoshi for Sushi. Speaking of getting out and about, there's a feature story about a local arcade. There's also a PSA, our "Featured Pet" from the Franklin County Humane Society, and a message from the new SDOW Superintendent. We hope you enjoy BJJTV #1.
Join Matthew and Kenzie for the second episode of Blue Jay Journal TV. This episode not only features announcements, but Natalie and Anna take us to Scudder and Co. in their "Let's Grab a Bite" segment. Our long-running feature "Not Just Another Face in the Crowd" is back highlighting Sean Barry.  We also include a PSA focused on spreading kindness and a feature about the student section. To get in the spirit of Halloween, several students and teachers share their favorite parts of this holiday. We also bring back "Blue Jays Try" featuring some unique Halloween treats. Of course, you will also meet our Featured Pet from the Franklin County Humane Society. Enjoy the show!
